Welcome to Hazelwood Memorial Hall!
Located near Belper, Derbyshire, a few miles north of Derby our Memorial Hall is a welcoming hub for local life, bringing people together for events, activities and celebrations of all kinds.
The Memorial Hall is at the top of the hill with splendid views across Derbyshire. It provides a flexible space for the community to connect, meet and celebrate. Available all year round, the Hall can be hired by regular groups or for one-off events, offering a wide range of facilities suitable for everything from meetings and classes to parties and community events.
Our facilities include:
- A spacious Main Hall (capacity: up to 100 standing or seated)
- A kitchen with direct access to the Main Hall
- On-site parking for up to 35 vehicles
- An additional overflow car park nearby for up to 100 vehicles

The hall is next to the church, near the junction of Over La, Goodwin’s La, Hazelwood Hill and Hob Hill.

Current regular use includes Yoga and Exercise classes, Hazelwood Bowls Club, Derby Guild of Weavers and other regular classes.
The hall is ideal for parties and weddings and has full kitchen facilities.
